Taller Walls and Tarp Brackets
If you frequently haul loose loads, you may want to think about increasing the height of the walls of your trailer. It is easier to keep your cargo in place when the walls are taller. If you don't think that taller walls will be sufficient, you can also choose tarp brackets that allow you to contain your load more effectively by keeping a roll-away tarp on top of it.

Adjustable Couplers
An adjustable coupler allows you to attach your trailer to hitches of multiple sizes. As a result, you don't have to worry about bringing the right size hitch because the coupler can adapt. This may be a good option if you intend to haul your trailer behind more than one vehicle.

Electric Jack
For all the benefits that dump trailers have to offer, hooking the trailer to the towing vehicle and then unhooking it can be an unpleasant chore. However, it doesn't have to be. An electric jack can do all the hard work for you when you choose it as an option on your trailer. All you have to do is hit a button to put the process into motion.

Spare Mounts
Flat tires are a fact of life that every driver encounters at some point. The tires of your trailer are no less susceptible to flats than those of your towing vehicle. Nevertheless, changing the tire can be less difficult if you have a spare already mounted to the frame. Choosing a spare mount as an option makes this possible. Arguably, it adds some visual interest to your trailer as well.

LED Lights
LED trailer lights offer vast advantages over the traditional lights that use incandescent bulbs. Light-emitting diodes are brighter than incandescents, which can be important for safety's sake when working in situations in which visibility may be limited. LEDs are also more efficient than incandescent bulbs and last much longer, meaning that you will not have to change the bulbs as often. In fact, chances are good that the LED bulbs will last as long as your trailer, so you may never have to change them at all. As of now, LED lights are an option for your dump trailer but, because of the many significant advantages they have to offer, it may not be long before they are the industry standard and incandescent bulbs are the option.

Undercoating
The bottom of your trailer comes in contact with many elements that can be corrosive, such as water, mud, grease, salt, oil, and other chemicals. These elements can take their toll on a trailer over time. Undercoating helps to protect your trailer from these elements, thus extending its useful life.
